Usage Policy

A self-service application

SonikTrax provides software and clients for a server you operate or are authorized to access. SonikTrax does not host music for the apps, supply a licensed music catalog, or provide a music subscription. Installing the software does not give you ownership of, or permission to use, any music.

Your content and legal rights

You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and for having the rights or permissions required to host, store, copy, download, stream, distribute or share content through your server. A purchase, subscription or publicly accessible link does not necessarily authorize every use. Availability through a search or an integration does not establish permission.

Do not use SonikTrax to infringe copyright or other rights, bypass access restrictions or digital rights management, or obtain or distribute content without authorization. Respect each connected provider's terms and limits. Server operators are responsible for assessing and responding to concerns about content they host.

Accounts and server operation

Use only accounts and servers you are authorized to access. Protect credentials, restrict administrative access, maintain updates and backups, and review enabled integrations and sharing options. Server owners are responsible for their hosting, storage, network costs, users and configuration. Do not assume a library scan, cleanup operation or synchronization is a backup.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, expose another person's private information, abuse the contact form, disrupt services, evade usage limits or use the software for unlawful activity. Administrators may restrict access to servers they operate when needed to address abuse or legal obligations.

Availability and independent services

Playback and other features depend on your server, network, devices and any external services you enable. SonikTrax does not guarantee that every provider, device or integration will remain available or work in every configuration. External providers and app platforms have their own terms. The software's repository license governs licensing of the software itself.

Copyright concerns

If content on a particular server may infringe your rights, contact that server's operator. For a concern about this website or software, choose Copyright in the contact form and identify the content or location, the rights involved and a way to reach you. Do not send passwords or account credentials. SonikTrax cannot remove music from an independently operated server.
